The Career Empowerment Center will provide access to various online job banks, as well as
provide job counseling, resume development, and basic job skill training.
The Nana’s House daycare program will allow women to attend workshops and find information
at the Center while their children are cared for in a safe, professional, and fun environment
The All About Me Library is a quiet, peaceful environment that will provide women with hundreds
of books, tapes, DVDs and videos designed to help women overcome many of the issues that are
affecting their lives.
The New Me Workshop will boost self-esteem by offering a head-to-toe makeover, including
hairstyling, new clothes, and workplace etiquette for that new career.
The Social Service Resource Program will help women in need navigate and utilize the
complex web of emergency resources through inside and outside referrals with the help of our
resource specialist.
My Sister Sister’s Keeper Mentoring Program will match mentor with mentoree that will help them
along their personal path to quickly and easily reach their goals as well as reach their greatest potential.
Helping Hand Legal Services will provide assistance with legal matters such as; child custody, divorce, and domestic issues.
The Abundant Life Classes will address issues such as personal welfare and wealth building in
an effort to help women overcome obstacles that have kept them from living happy and healthy lives.
Finally the LRC will be committed to helping abused women leave potentially life-threatening
situ situations and establish safe homes for them and their children through our partnership with the
forth-coming Betty Ballard House of New Beginnings and other safe houses all over the state
of Arizona.
